Bruce D. Hellenga has spent the last forty two (42) years in Business Management with a focus on Loss Control, Operations, Human Resources and Business Development.
Mr. Hellenga has spent the last sixteen (16) years as a Subsidiary Operations Manager for Bering Straits Native Corporation. Mr. Hellenga manages the everyday Operational requirements for many of BSNC's subsidiary government contracts. Mr. Hellenga has excelled in providing leadership in the startup phase as well as operational management of many of BSNC's current contracts.
Mr. Hellenga has oversight responsibilities for the Alaska Land Mobile Radio System (ALMR) in Alaska. This sixteen (16) year project manages and maintains this very important Emergency Response P25 Trunking Radio System used by all Federal and State Agencies operating in Alaska. Mr. Hellenga is the General Manager/ Operations Manager for Arcticom LLC a commercial wireless two way radio communications company that supports the ALMR project by providing the maintenance requirements for the system and performs as the Federal Manufactures Representative for the Motorola Corporation in Alaska. As a BSNC Subsidiary Operations Manager Mr. Hellenga has the responsibility to support the thirty-one (31) subsidiary companies and has taken a major role in their Safety/ Loss Control efforts.
Under Mr. Hellenga's leadership BSNC and its Subsidiaries have become an industry leader in promoting a safe work place.
