The front-mounted 4-pin electret microphone comes with an extra-long coiled cord for convenient use, while the intuitive controls include volume, squelch, and RF gain adjustment. A built-in S/RF LED meter and transmit indicator lights allow for easy monitoring of signal activity.
For improved communication clarity, the radio includes an Automatic Noise Limiter (ANL) and auto-squelch to minimize background interference. Instant Channel 9 access provides quick connection to emergency broadcasts when needed.
